The management of the Jerusalem International Film Festival, headed by Dr. Ezzedine Shalah, announced the reception of fictional and documentary Mobile films for the sixth session which will start from 29/11/2021 until 06/12/2021from all over the world depending on the goals and conditions of the festival which include presenting a film carrying a positive message, and the film should be shot on a mobile phone, as well as the film duration is not less than one minute and not more than three minutes.
Dr. Shallah added that the Palestinian situation has its peculiarity, as there is the occupation that practices oppression and attacks against our Palestinian people daily, whether in the West Bank or the Gaza Strip, as what happens in Sheikh Jarrah, Silwan, Beita and Gaza. There have been thousands of powerful shots contributing to creating Mobile films, so we would like to strengthen the national identity by encouraging young people to develop their abilities and send cinematic messages for events, not newsletters because cinema has an influential role in modifying the mental image of foreign viewers.
